The Columbia University Club of Fairfield County was originally established some time in the early 1980's. The primary focus of the Club was, at the time, to have one annual event with a guest professor and the annual potluck picnic at the Greenwich Polo Grounds, the latter of which usually realized about 80-110 participants.
