The Greenwich Polo Picnic returns!

This popular event will be Sunday, July 14th (rain date tbd). Gates open at 1 pm with the polo match beginning at 3 pm. We wrap things up about 5 pm.

This year it’s not a group potluck (per a new Greenwich town restriction).

So, bring your own personal picnic of food and beverages for just you and your party. Our alumni club will provide prepackaged snacks, ice and bottled water. Also available this year at the grounds will be nearby food trucks with lunch items for purchase.

Please enter the NUMBER OF CARS (not people) in your party. Enter 1 if coming in one car. Tickets are $72 per car with a max of 8 people in the car (non-refundable – our event date is subject to being rescheduled, such as for rain).  You will be emailed a car pass to use as your ticket. When entering the parking area, show the car pass and each occupant in the car will receive a wrist band for admission to the grounds and access to our 3 cabanas.

Only 25 car passes are available for our alums so act now if you are coming.

As before, our club will have 3 adjacent tent “cabanas", each with 8 chairs and a table.  For additional shade, there is a grove of trees behind the cabanas.  There is ample space on the lawn adjacent to the cabanas for your picnic blanket, low chairs and any food/beverages you bring.

The Greenwich Polo Club field is located at 1 Hurlingham Drive, Greenwich.

Our cabanas are designated “West Cabanas” and are located near the Pony Bar.

In case of postponement, such as for rain, the rescheduled date will be finalized by the polo association.  We hope this would be the following Sunday, but not guaranteed.
