Benefits of Your Columbia Alumni Association Membership and Fairfield County Club:
The Columbia Alumni Association's (CAA) mission is to cultivate a global community of Columbia alums, students, faculty, and staff to explore interests, exchange ideas, and take actions that enrich one another, the University, and the world. All Columbia alumni are automatically CAA members, regardless of your paid Columbia Club of Fairfield County (CUCFC) membership.
All CAA members enjoy exclusive cultural event, travel, finance, and shopping discounts. Thes include discounts on arts event access, insurance rates, shopping, credit card, travel study programs, lodging, car rentals, campus services, and the Campus Book Store. Details are on the CAA Arts Access and exclusive Alumni Shopping Discounts websites. CUCFC paid members enjoy additional benefits.
What are the benefits of CUCFC paid membership?
Build LOCAL Columbia Pride! As a paid CUCFC member, you support local club events to cover some costs – though we try to make all events self-funding. Your support helps us grow the local active network of alumni.
CUCFC paid members get event discounts. Discounts range from 10-30% per event. Events include: an annual schooner cruise, garden tours, young alumni cocktail receptions, Columbia faculty speaker events in-person and online. See our calendar of past and future events.
Invest in your network! The larger your active network, the more valuable it is. Connected Alumni are more motivated to support the school and each other for career advice, introductions, and more. Help us make our network more active and valuable.
Support Book Awards to draw talented high school graduates into a pipeline of applicants and future alumni. The CUCFC fully funds this award, to perpetuate the growth, strength, and value of our global alumni community.
Fund local philanthropic activities, to build the CUCFC relationship with our local community, such as holding the Operation Hope events, to support our local food pantries, several times a year.
