About the Speaker:
Dr. Walter Zaryckyj is the Executive Director of the Center for US-Ukrainian Relations (CUSUR), which provides informational platforms for senior political, security, and diplomatic leaders to address transatlantic cooperation. A quadruple alumnus of Columbia University (B.A. '72, M.A. '75, M.Phil. '78, and Ph.D. '11), he taught political science at New York University for nearly three decades and serves as President of the Ukrainian American Freedom Foundation. Dr. Zaryckyj has organized nearly 150 national and international conferences featuring senior military commanders, diplomats, and policy leaders, and is a recognized authority on post-Soviet politics and Black Sea regional security.
